Then have your groceries/sandwiches at dinner time. Have formula lunches at cafes for under 15 Euros each (good news - tax and tip are included in the price!!) Cafes on not in the center of town are going to be a lot cheaper than the cafes in the most central, most touristy zones. It's super easy to find filled baguette sandwiches.
